My Trip to Rejuvenation Portland
I recently took a trip to Portland. And, of course, I stopped by Rejuvenation's home base. I've been drooling over their website and catalog long enough that I figured I should see things in person.
They are in, what I can only guess is, Portland's warehouse district. If it's not the warehouse district, it's a lot like what every other city's warehouse district looks like.
So it's a bit out of the way, but if you're in Portland, it's well worth the trip. It's great to see everything you've been planning your remodel/DIY projects around in person.
Not only do they have everything you've seen in the catalog/website, they have vintage items that they've found or sourced.
Including things that they've made high-quality reproductions of, for those of us that prefer to have the original (no matter how dirty/unpolished).
I'd love to see all their products in person. Were you satisfied with the quality?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. The products look even better in person and everything feels solid, like it will last.
DeletePortland's industrial/warehouse district is on the other side of the water (NW). Though, Rejuvenation does seem like a warehouse--it is a very large building--I believe it's really in a commercial district. They are a good source for salvage, for those of us lucky enough to live close by. Though, in general, they're pretty spendy. Quite often you can find better deals elsewhere in town at the *many* other house salvage retailers, i.e. Hippo Hardware, Rebuilding Center, etc.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense. The area seemed like a bunch of old warehouses that had been converted into commercial sellers/retailers some time ago. And now I've got a few other places I'll have to check out the next time I'm in Portland.
